Unearthing my soul

In 2011 I started Magni's Munchies and More, a Unique 'Pop-Up' Boutique that caters to Pets and their People. Starting and growing the company proved to be a wonderful and fulfilling adventure. However, as years went by I found myself craving 'more', though I was uncertain what that 'more' was.

Turns out the calling for 'more' was a need to step outside the pet arena and provide a space to allow for fluid creativity. But to walk away from what I knew and from what I had spent nine years building seemed a bit crazy. Then in March of 2020 Covid hit and Magni's Munchies and More came to a sudden halt. Everything I knew was suddenly no more. But there it lie, what I needed. I wasn't going to have to make the decision to walk away, it was walking away from me. At least temporarily. It became apparent my life's course was changing. It was now or never. So with much anticipation I began to veer off the beaten path and started walking a new one.   

In April of 2020 I officially launched Unearthing the Soul, a sister company to Magni's Munchies and More. Though I'm still involved in my Pet business, and will continue to be, this space allows me the opportuntlty to spread my wings, breathe new air and continue to walk myself home while creatively empowering and inspiring others to do the same. 

Life is a journey and we're all writing our own story. The good, the shitty, the crazy and the amazing. My journey has been full of many things, but one primarily filled with courage. There have been two poignant times in my life where I had to make a choice. I could begin to heal or die. I chose to begin healing. The first time, mentally and emotionally. The second, physically. And I've been healing ever since. I plan to blog about all the wonderful healing properties I am uncovering - mind, body and soul. Opening our hearts is how we connect to each other and it is here I hope to continue to find my voice (easier said than done), share my voice (oh boy!) and collaborate with others to collectively heal myself and the planet and at the same time not take life too seriously. It's important to remember to laugh. To laugh hard and laugh often. And this space illuminates that reminder beautifully.

Unearthing the Soul is home to wit and wonder and love and laughter through both products and blogging. It is a space to empower and inspire ourselves and one another. It is here I hope you can both laugh and heal because you can not do one without the other.
